How Checkpoint 360°™ Works
Survey Administration
The process begins with the administration of the CheckPoint 360° survey. Managers complete a self-evaluation, and then up to three bosses, along with up to three different respondent groups (which may include peers, direct reports, and customers), rate the manager. This ensures a broad spectrum of perspectives on the manager’s performance.
Feedback on Competencies and Skill Sets
The survey focuses on evaluating the manager across eight universal Management Competencies and 18 key Skill Sets. These competencies include areas such as Communication, Leadership, Adaptability, Relationships, Task Management, Production, Development of Others, and Personal Development.
Confidentiality of Responses
All survey information provided by respondent groups, except for the manager and their bosses, is kept completely confidential. This encourages honest and constructive feedback.
Comprehensive Reporting
After the survey is completed, a set of robust reports is generated. These reports include: individual feedback reports, comparison reports, and management reports for the manager, a management comparison report for the boss, and an executive overview for C-Suite Executives.
Development and Coaching
Based on the feedback and insights gained from the reports, personalized guidance and development plans are created for managers to address their specific growth areas.
This comprehensive approach not only helps in identifying and prioritizing development opportunities for managers but also offers the organization a way to better focus management training and align management practices with overall strategic goals.
