"In early 2001 one of the largest venture capital firms in the country approached me with an innovative idea -- create an internal executive search and human resource consulting division for their portfolio of 35+ companies located throughout the United States.  With existing offices in Austin, Boston, Palo Alto and Pittsburgh, our primary focus was high technology, software and semiconductor companies.

Despite more than 635 venture capital firms around the country, only ten or so attempted a similar business model to establish this ‘human capital’ practice concentrating on the one component partners admitted they had little expertise.  Having built or redesigned several HR functions from its foundation, we implemented an innovative concept: solutions for CEO’s, founders, and entrepreneurs on dealing with their most difficult business challenge:  People.

Seven years later in January 2008, Human Capital Advisors was launched.  Our full-service Executive Search, Consulting and Leadership Development firm partnering with more than 200 clients in five states is comprised of subject matter professionals exceptionally talented at listening and understanding our clients’ specific challenges and achieving solutions to resolve them efficiently and effectively."
